I am very truly long on Dell now as in the past.

I had a large profit in my IRA and I wanted to trade more options so I needed some cash.

What options did I buy when I reduced my Dell holdings?Dell Nov85 Calls and Oct80 Puts with the remainder in cash for the purpose of buying more shares of Dell on a dip.

I think somewhere in the next several weeks Dell may back up a little bit, nothing serious long term but there are a lot of profits out there on Dell and people may get ichy.

Also the may be factors out of Dell's control such as a fed interest rate hike that may make the markets skiddish.

If Dell goes down I make money on the put side and and have a great buying opportunity that I will act on.(This is the best chance for me to increase the number of shares I own)

If Dell continues up the Call options will allow me to capitalize on share price increases.

My bottom line goal-to increase the number of Dell shares I own!
