Selling puts is a vote of confidence since the seller is obligated to buy the stock at the exercize price; it is a great strategy for one who believes in the stock and wants to buy but is fearful of the short term volatility. Many people will sell puts and as the stock runs up will sell calls to maximize their profits; of course, they may get caught in a run up/down and have to pay the piper. All the best. Although I have no position in AXC, I believe it has potential and would enter somewhere in the high 5's. RW
