Question for the thread concerning proxy materials:

For the third consecutive time I received today proxy materials for shares held in street name with ETrade --- in the mail on the day of the shareholder meeting.

For the third consecutive time, I have been denied my right to vote on company concerns as a shareholder because of these delays --- although on one of the three the company sent me an advance copy directly at my request.

It is possible that the company forwards these materials without sufficient advance time for ETrade to forward them to customers. It is also possible that ETrade has a bottleneck somewhere in their proxy distribution process.

Would appreciate feedback from anyone on the thread concerning their experiences in this matter. Are you having the same delays through ETrade? Are you experiencing these delays through other online brokers?
