Digital Cameras there is still the issue or archiving
I'm very happy with my digital camera (Kodak). The pictures are very sharp and look good when printed on a quality printer. They look great if we take the image to Kinko's to print on their ultra-quality printers (for about a dollar per page, except you can get 4 to six photos per page). If I had a prize winning photo, I could get it run off on a linotronic, service costs about $25/file. I can get pretty good reprints direct from the compact flash at Walmart. I got a 30Gb hard drive where I organize them and then write them off to a CDROM. The only problem I have has been with rechargable batteries, I think I got a bad batch or bad recharger because a couple swelled up and wouldn't charge (and I wouldn't trust them anymore).
