Sounds fair darfott, to tell the truth (I always do in regards to my own PF) yes I did suffer at the 1st of the year but my buy and hold has worked very well for me. I don't do well on slicing and dicing. PF up 350% + last 3 years. I am sticking to my plan. There will be some big sell offs and hopefully some additional big gains. Personally I think people who claim they can time the gold market are self delusional and that includes me at times on my own stocks. <g> Just one man's opinion. Others here have done much better but I am hanging in. Tom
