Definitely. Both sides need to sit down and hammer it out. There must be dramatic cuts across the board, especially in entitlements, if we're going to raise taxes, or we're simply rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Promises to reduce planned increases in spending from say, 15% in FY2013 to 10% isn't saving anyone money. It's like your spouse telling you that because she bought a $300 dress or suit on a whim instead of a $400 one, she somehow saved you $100.
