No, I wanted that post to be public, and this is the last (& most often) place that Jeff posts.
I am not hyping or spamming, I am posting directly to the three most influential people on SI asking them to give a public statement as to why they are allowing minors to post on SI.
This is not a minor <g> problem. It has a lot of implications as I stated before. Do you think a minor should be able to walk into a bar and buy a beer, walk into a pawnshop and buy a gun, walk into a stock brokerage and buy a stock, walk into a bank and start a credit card account, should they be allowed to vote as soon as they can talk? Why should minors be allowed to post on SI -- the Terms of Use seem to indicate otherwise. If the SI management decides to interpret this otherwise, fine -- but I would like them to state it publicly.
In other words, Jeff, Brad, Bob, why are you letting Daniel Miller post on SI since he is 15 years old? He can not legally trade on the stock market or enter in a binding contract with SI or any one else.
If you, Scrapps, would like to send me a PM to discuss this issue, I will be glad to answer and explain what is going on. It is not pretty, in fact, I suspect that the SEC will get involved soon. |
