Jesse - Thanks for clarifying that T means Tesla. My first thought on hearing that the Legend anomaly is 10-40 times stronger than Ashton's is that it is from something other than kimberlite. I have no technical knowledge on this, just that that is a large range to be coming from the same material, especially if all of Ashton's are in the 10-30 nT range. And we know Montello has already found magnetic sand. OTOH, I think it was you who recently pointed out (here or ACA thread) the different types and quantities of garnets that may or may not serve as indicators, so perhaps the magnetics can vary 40:1.

This would be a good fact to search your "encyclopedia" for!
