There's plenty of doom and gloom alright, but it's always like this at cycle bottoms. There was plenty of depression talk in 1991 also, but everybody forgets. The gloom back then lasted 'til about '93, with a slow, gradual recovery from '91. It's starting to look more like a repeat of the last recession, imo.
