I think this is a true reversal. Mostly because it is not as strong as the last few. Strong reversals are often called "Fake Out Bars". The reason they happen and why they often don't result in a true reversal is really quite simple. A strong upward reversal is often initiated by a large institution buying into the stock. If this happens during a strong downtrend then their purchase may not be representative of the small investor's. They may cause a reversal for a couple of days but if the small investors are not willing to buy the reversal quickly fades out! So a slow reversal like this one is preferable to a strong one day upswing. Unless that strong upswing was preceeded by a milder one.
