Vintage AOL response to quotation glitches.....This is a classic. S&P, who provides reliable data to thousands of customers, somehow fed "bad data" to AOL. I'd lay 10-1 that the screw-up happened on AOL's side of the data feed. In typical AOL fashion, the blame must be placed elsewhere.

If I were S&P, I would be getting to the bottom of this pronto. If I found that AOL was at fault I'd be in court and have my PR machine cranked up full blast to clear my name.
