Real estate in Brazil is a Pandora's box. You have to guard it with extreme care. Even relatives would readily take them over, not to speak of thieves and druglords. Hundreds of people are kidnapped weekly...and the trend is up, sadly. If you decide to buy anything you must 'tripple check' on identity of seller et al. Con artists galore!!!In sum, fuhgeddaboudit...Buy a little Petrobras or Telemig Cel if the urge is too great. Socialist Lula is going to win the elections, but he won't govern though. The real problem is elsewhere...or everywhere.
