It really is an amazing situation. I've been following the precious metals for 20 years and I don't remember anything quite like this. When I look at some of the long-term charts and see stocks which were over $5 in 1996 trading at $0.25, or $2 stocks from then now trading at 8 cents, I lick my lips! SWG came close to $30 in 1996, and it's a stronger company now with many more good prospects than it had then.

As you say, the key is to diversify into good companies that will survive this bear and then multiply many times when the turnaround comes. SWG is still one of my favourites.
