The question is irrational. I will only respond to it. The struggle of man has always been and will always be TO DEFINE REALITY. Perception is an important component in this quest to the extent that we must recognize our 'perceptual biases'. In the old days, it is
not surprising that people held as fact that the sun revolved around the earth, that angels exist, and that the actual face of Christ is imprinted on the Shroud of Turin. Perception, here, is the only component to reality. It is not surprising that even today, the
Christian Church refuses to submit the shroud to scientific investigation. They what to keep your reality in line with the perceptions of a long ago gone world.
