As for his crying, I didn't know Japanese men don't cry, but I suspect his whole life was a lie. That's why he was crying.

His whole life was a lie? There must be something to this story that you aren't sharing with us, because how in the world did you reach that conclusion?

Its mostly through intuition and not because he said directly that he was unhappy. I mean when a guy starts crying because he doesn't want to go home.....it doesn't sound like he's real happy with his life. Don't you agree?

This guy slurped noodles, went to University of Tokyo, was from a manufacturing family (no big deal in Japan), cried when he was supposed to return to Japan, and slept with a towel to clean up accidental ejaculations, AND his whole life was a lie? Are you writing a play or something?

No, I was simply giving impressions that I got from this guy. Dude, I was busy with my life.......I didn't exactly do a character analysis of the guy nor was he my focus. In fact, I needed the money from the rent he paid. Besides, I know little about the Japanese culture. How was I to discern between what was cultural and what was weird? I mean the first week whenever I ran into him he would bow. It took three requests to stop before he did stop. And don't tell that bowing is not common in Japan and don't tell me its not weird.
