When all is said and done with Enron, and it's shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that Bush's administration didn't do anything improper to help Enron, and the economy is in tatters because of Enron and all the political belly aching, the Democrats undoubtedly will take the opposite approach:

They'll shout, "You didn't help Enron when you had the chance. Now the whole economy has tanked because you didn't."

And the media will take up the chant.
