You're not missing anything on this one. I typically go long on a stock unless it's an obvious short like this one is to me. People today just buy stocks based on magazine articles, calls from brokers, etc. No one researches prior to buying a lot of times today. Just wait until the volume continues to dwindle down to it's average of 30,000 shares. The buying will end and the big guys will be out by then.

Anyone watch level II with BCRX. Quite interesting, it looked as though the MM's were sitting on orders because there would be no action for about 3 minutes, then they'd run the price up or down. This happened throughout the day. It's like the were compiling the orders to make them look larger than they were.
