Chiron Fundamentals: You get them at: www2.marketguide.com I think Chiron is interesting below 20$ for bargain hunters. Chart does not look too bad, has stablilized at 18$. A big asset is that Ciba owns 49% of Chiron. Ciba will fusion with Sandoz to form Novartis, the biggest pharmaceutical company. Sooner or later, Novartis might buy Chiron. In the short view, Chiron is under pressure. The betaseron (to treat MS) is under pressure from Biogens Avonex (which seems to be better) and the clinical trials on the herpes treatment showed not the results they hoped for. Some people on the other chiron board say that this co. has a very good product pipeline. I not so shure. Bought Genzyme lately. Looks much better and is cheaper! I hope this helps! Ralf
