Please, don't compare it to Cyrix !
At this point I'm not sure any more about IOMG. I shorted it at 26
and bought it back at 21. Now it's going up again. A lot of you guys
are very excited from the ZIP product. It could be a very attractive
product at 1 GB with a retail price of $300. My main problem is the
margins on storage products. Seagate is trading at a PE of 10 !
The other problem is what's going to happen if Seagate/Conner come up
with a "ZIP" product. I don't think IOMG could compete.
As appose to Iomega, Cyrix is a great company, playing in a great
market with the best margins. Not only Cyrix has few great products,
it has a terific track record of doubling revenue & earnings almost
every year. I agree that the market is bidding it down for no apperent
reason. It's currently trading for $35 a share. I'll be suprised if
it doesn't hit $150 a share sometimes next year !!!
