If you have evidence of corruption, let's hear it. I am all for removing corrupt officials. But without such evidence, you are calling for the impeachment of Bush. At best, this is sheer idiocy.
I am quite impressed with how the war has gone in Afghanistan. We may have even killed bin Laden recently, the DNA results have not been released yet. But that alone, will not end the threat.
Pakistan is truly turning into a powerful ally. I thought that would be impossible. Colin Powell is amazing. I thought he was a powder puff player, but he is relentless in the pursuit of his goals. That was a major victory for US.
It is true, that many wealthy Saudi's support the destruction of Israel, and supported bin Laden. There are a lot of poor people in the region, and these wealthy supporters provide welfare, and education in the form of anti-American indoctrination. This must stop. The support is also from Egypt, and other Middle Eastern countries we buy oil from, and call allies. How will we stop it? First of all, get rid of Saddam.
So far, Bush has said you are with us, or you are with the terrorists. Pakistan decided they are with us, and they were of immediate benefit. Other countries, have not been part of the equation. When we go after Saddam, they will be. They will have to make that decision. And those wealthy individuals who decide to side with the terrorists, will be purged.
Now, I could have easily chided you for promoting idiotic conspiracies. It's all the Illuminati, or the Trilateral Commission, or the Council on Foreign Affairs. They all want our slack. That would be too easy. I think you are quite innocent of having knowledge of crackpot conspiracies, you have just been touched by them. You haven't really thought them out. You heard something, and it convinced you that there is a conspiracy behind all of this. There is. A conspiracy of terrorists, who promote anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism to keep the populace from going after their real enemy, the despots who rule them.
As for your crackpot theory on boycotting ME oil, I would join up and only buy oil from a non-ME supplier. But that would only make me feel better, it would do nothing to solve the problem. It would only make it worse. Here is the fatal flaw: What will we do against countries that continue to import and use ME oil? Boycott trade with them? What do you think would be the consequences of that? |
