Just perused some of the rantings on "Ask God" and in case you hadn't seen this, thought you might enjoy it. What follows are the three "theories" of creation:

Kent, There are several theories of creation . It will take faith to believe any one of them.The theories are:
1) Evolution
2) Gap-theory
3) Creation Scientist theory
In the Gap theory there is billions of years between Gen 1:1 tha Gen 1:2
and a indetermient amout of time but probably millions of yrs between
Gen 1:2 and Gen 1:3.
Creation scientist theory is the only theoroy that has the earth about 10000 yrs old.
But, in theory 2 or 3 animals were created first then the male Adam then
the female Adam. They were both named Adam.
I understand your confusion.
In the gap theory God created the Heavens and the earth. This was when
the Word of God (Jesus) created Lucifer. Lucifer rebelled and was cast down
to earth. Then God had to wipe out the first earth millions of years
ago becasue Satan and the angels that sided with Satan polluted the earth.
Then God covered it with water and you are at Gen 1:2
This theory indicates that what most refer to as the 6 day creation is
really a 6 day remake. Even the Hebrew only uses create (bara) for
Adam and the animals after Gen 1:1.
Also, remember that in Gen 1:28 Adam was charged to "replenish" the earth.
How do you replenish for the first time unless there use to be
a pre-Adamite earth and it was wiped out.
Anyway..... There are books of the creation throries. If it was just this
little dab it wouldn't be a theory. But, Jesus , moses, jerimiah, eze.,
and it is all through the bible about the creation. It isn't like a history
book where they start at the beginning and go chronilogical.
For instance, Jesus said He saw Satan cast to earth like lightning.
well, when did that happen since when we first see satan in the garden he has
already fallen......

PS. One of God's commandments is thou shall have no other god's .
If money really means something to you then God cannot bless you with it.
If you realize that money is only here to advance the gospel then God
can load you up.
