Win 2000 is faster than any version of Win 98. There is no doubt about that. I have been using Win 2000 and now Win XP and I have been very happy with NT stability and speed. Also Win 2000 and XP will allow you to have as much memory as you can imagine having. I have 2 gigs of memory on my machinge. Steven
