Amazing, eh?! I remember reading Newton's "Optiks" many years ago when I was very young. Surprisingly, this classic book was NOT a difficult read. Other than the English, it was actually simple and methodical logic leading from the simple to the complex--but always based on whether an hypothesis succeeded or failed. I have never forgotten that, because I learned there that great thinking is not merely about a certain genius--but rather about the ability To be completely honest with reality...and to never lie about what reality tells us.

That is True Science. Any and every hypothesis is either true or false. Continuing to discard the false leads to the True--or (at least) to the TRUER.
