I have never heard of such a restriction. This is odd. The statistical LT mean is a little bit better than minus 4 pips. (for the 8 contracts). The gross gain in pips or $$$, for the profitable trades can be very high. The expected net gain for a speculator (after deducting trade losses and fees) is negative. The picture is only improved by small contributions of non profit market participants, like governments, good and service trades..
