Re: ...if Iran persists in her nuclear ambition, the US will attack in my opinion. It may not be an all out war and occupation a la Iraq, but the nuclear threat will be dealt with.

And the US lust for worldwide hegemony will be dealt with as well.... An attack on Iran will compel China to move. Not that China cares about the fate of Islam or the Muslim world. China will look after her own interests first, and foremost among them is Taiwan....

Iran is not just another Muslim bugbear to be tamed by the self-styled "civilized world". Iran is a threshold, a mixed civilization bordering the Middle east AND Asia. Besides, should another war be launched against Iran, nobody expects the American bully to stop at this one --so, after Iran, who's next? You guessed it: China! Iran is actually the last challenger to stand out between the US and China... Hence, for her own sake, China must not let Iran go for nothing.

So, the only question is not, will the US-Israeli war machine turn against Iran but, at what price? As you yanks put it, there's no free lunch... You want Iran? Iran is gourmet lunch!
