Thanks for your 2¢ Bob. It's true, and due to the new NASDAQ rules we can see a little more of what's really going on. On the small issues the MMs will generally only show 1K for size, if you see something like 6,200 on bid size you can pretty well guess that someone fed them a buy order.

These new NASDAQ rules are aimed at leveling the playing field for the individual investors - if their bid/offer is better than what the MMs have listed at the time it's supposed to be shown on the boards.

Having these things shown should also help discourage some of those "practices" that have been going on since day 1.
