12:24 ET ONI Systems (ONIS) 35.05 +0.20: Sources at CSFB telling us that firm is making positive comments on ONIS after its presentation at the CSFB conference; says ONIS is well positioned for the shift from a build-out of the long haul network to the metro. Not seeing much movement in the stock, however; Briefing.com would note that the market was made well aware of the bullish metro story with ONI's Apr 17 earnings report.




12:15 ET Nuance Comms (NUAN) 12.61 +1/85 (+17.2%): -- Technical -- Voice Web software maker flirting with 20/50 day simple ma (12.6) which contained the upside over the last several weeks. Initial resistance is near 14 but a lasting break exposes the May high at 15.27. Penetration of this level raises the probability that the month long drift is complete with potential back to the April high.
