Progress report on folder_links trimming.

There are currently 6,859,435 rows left in the table.

Of these, 4,235,567 are links to 11 remaining system-generated PM's still in Inboxes (not moved to folders). Leaving 2,623,868 rows once these are removed.

Note that I am NOT removing system-generated PM's that've been saved to other folders.

The trimming-down of folder_links should be done sometime late this afternoon. I'm only barely actively involved in it. I kick off processes and let them run while I continue my Dataset education.

The expectation is that by Monday, the Dev site's Inbox will mirror the production site's Inbox in realtime except for the most recent 500 public messages written. We keep a 500-message delay in public message imports to ensure we're not importing messages until they can no longer be edited.

Actually, that's going to take a little more thought and work. Your folder_links will be updated in realtime, but public messages lag by 500, which means if one of those 500 messages was written to you, it might cause problems on Dev when it tries to link to a message that doesn't exist on that box yet. I'm sure I'll come up with a solution.

Banging out ASP.NET code to make the site functional is my primary focus right now, but I'm always keeping one hand on the secondary focus of keeping the db's in synch.

Edit: I might've forgotten to mention that Portfolios have been migrated to the new system. They're just not accessible through the site yet and there's no mechanism (data feed) in place for updating prices in them. Not yet anyway. Since these can also be changed frequently, the synchronizing import will start dealing with portfolio records once I've got code set up to display them.
