Dont hold your breath. Joe Klein just back from iraq walked the same streets of bagdad that McCain had walked about a month or two ago. He said he asked storekeepers what they thought. Most supported al sadr and hoped for an islamic state under him. Thats whats coming for part of iraq. ONly area where we have won is kurdistan. We should call that a victory, base american troops there and concentrate on a settlement with the turks. Let iraqis fight it out with iraqis. Time for a real civil war. Remove the american finger from the dike and let them have had it.
