Rick, Robin, Jonathan This is why given recent events I hope Travelers is closely involved in what is going on. They have made a big investment and have increased it. They would not be sitting and watching while other insiders were selling if something was seriously and irreparably wrong. So I assume and hope they are fully involved in what is going on. Who else can salvage the current mess? Travelers I think is the key to this and can do it if they are committed which they must be. They wouldn't wait in line to bail out. They have the wherewithal and capital to attract any necessary talented or high profile scientists and business people. They can supply expertise on advertising, production, and distribution of products. They can, if they find it worthwhile, provide capital possibly for continuing product development, for purchase of East-West, for crucial additional resources if things are going well and a little push can help significantly, such as in an advertising campaign. They can provide capital that can begin to push the stock price up and provide support for it at crucial times. I see Travelers now as the strong hand in the mix. It may be that Travelers and Rhodes have engineered the victory of the business oriented bottom liners. Some of us have been shareholders in prln for more than one reason. PRLN had something like, for lack of a better word, something like good karma. If there has been a takeover by the bottom liners PRLN has lost some of that karma or soul. And those of us attracted to the company partly for that have lost something but what is a loss for the soul will probably be a gain for the pocket book. I am not totally pleased with this because I thought there was potential and room for both soul and profit in PRLN. But the recent developments at PRLN seem to be fully consistent with the past decade (several decades is probably more like it) of business reality and zeitgiest so its nothing new. In fact (I hate to do this to you Rick) it is another small step in the ongoing victory of the second half of the 20th Century American philosophy most succinctly stated by, that's right, Vince Lombardi "Winning isn't everything, It's the only thing!"
Anyway Rick, this must provide for you a little bit of the flavor of great irony such as being a Red Sox fan like me. You obviously have concern about the heart and soul of PRLN which may have been diminished yet this may lead to a corresponding increase in our wallets. You, specifically, are caught in the irony of being a staunch Packer fan now enjoying their success but suffering from the irony of the pervasive victory through America of the Lombardian philosophy and its current specific impact on PRLN. But don't forget, as has been pointed out, Babish still has a bunch of warrants. And now that he is not an insider he doesn't have to report when he is buying more stock or warrants. One question is can you and me and the rest of us live with these ironies if our bank accounts get bigger even if we don't like a lot of what has happened?
Now to really important things. I think I have discovered historical evidence that explains why paul is committed to posting in the lower case. Is anyone interested in this?
