Joe, I figure that we could be dealing with 2 different things; the techs are just starting to get killed again; or: Is there any chance that the talk about Lucent doing IP based telco has got the thinking shifting to looking at the current switched telco network as a has-been dinosaur that is going to go away and companies invested in that old technology are going to start losing business big-time? I am thinking about companies like UUNET; RCN; QWest; aren't these going to be the future and couldn't they end up replacing the traditional telcos; both long and local?
