>>Impeach the womanizing bastard. And what does Clinton say? Well today he was quoted as telling the Russians to stay the course of reform. This is laughable. And coming from the president of the United States it is pathetic.>>

Paul:

Thanks for the above.

I'm beginning to have greater appreciation for your negative comments.

Its really quite amazing how the electorate and leaders in this country do not have the balls to call a spade a spade. Where does this leave our "rule of law"?

Clinton does have a future. If he steps down, I sincerely believe he'd have a fighting chance of replacing Yeltsin.

If anyone thinks character and truth does not count, just look at Russia. As a country, the Russia grew used to being led by liers and the citizens have responded by developing the art of lieing almost to the point of becoming a national obsessive character trait. You HAVE to lie to survive, period. The is no "rule of law" - Russian mafia interests will run the country until their excess profits can no longer support their protection payments to corrupt police, officials, governmnet leader, etc.

The United States could devolve into a corrupt, cynical state if we simply continue to repeat a pattern that says "who cares...everyone does it - lieing, cheating, obstructing." All that really matters in this "new model" of freedom is "did you get caught. From here on out - unless character-based leadership returns - our nation's youth will equate success more with "beating the system".

This upcoming summit will be a very sad, sorry spectacle. Two guttermen hugging each other. They will need to wipe off the grease before its all over.

Go Clinton - ie. resign. Go Yeltsin - ie resign.

Go....er, giddee-up Novell!
