Larry,
Just go into the Control Panel
Click Users and Passwords
Uncheck Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.

Right now I'm on my W2K box but I'm 99% sure it's the same
with XP. If no one else chimes in, if you want I can check
for you later to make absolutely sure.
