Yep, it's no rumour, it's right there in Toronto Computes! in a grumpy story by Myles White (the only negative story about the suite I've read out of about 10). (Latest edition.) But just another thought, it's not healthy to assume "competing with Microsoft" is the problem. Sure, the office suites are competing, but it may not be the battle to the death that we might assume. _NETSCAPE_ is competing with Microsoft. This is giving Corel breathing space because MSFT is so hell-bent to crush Netscape. Even with bid daddy in the same Suite market, Corel's numbers are going to look great...they have oodles of good products, the public is fond of Wordperfect, the graphics field is a huge growth area, etc. This year's numbers (the PRESENT) are going to look awesome, and the prospect for graphics and VIDEO software are huge (the FUTURE). Netscape (sell sell sell!) should be so lucky. All that said we'll all breathe a sigh of relief when Corel figures out what it's doing with NT.
