Hi Kirk,

I think higher of Trump than you do.

Tariffs are the sole responsibility of the Presidency. They have been neglected due to presidential timidity IMO.

The rest of the World has given us a complex on being wealthy, the product of our God given resources, but also a product of innovation coupled with an unusually strong work ethic. IMO

Trump is often underrated and called crude and abrupt.

His thought process exceeds most and certainly has a more aggressive delivery in saying it like he sees it. His telling to Nato "You are not providing as agreed was the tell for me. It ended up being appreciated by the Nato military. Now it is waking up Germany such that they need to prepare to defend themselves and they have now confirmed a better preparation.

Trump is leaning on Canada because they are serial cheaters on dumping in the USA. I see it because I'm in Wisconsin and have a tree farm of 132 acres that are now 69 years old. I've managed every thinning and get perturbed at their dumping of softwoods into Wisconsin and it depresses prices such that the taxes on the land barely get covered.

They literally have run every paper maker out of the state!

They are horrible cheaters on dairy products. They have a minimal amount of dairy products that can be exported into Canada and when it is reached the tariff goes to 240%!

Pretty boy Trudeau has hid behind our own defenses and has handed out a social health care that isn't worth much.

Trump's thought processes are far out in the future. Much of what he has said in the past I doubted. Over the last four years of Biden, much of what he said in his first term has proven out to be true.

I think Canada would greatly benefit by becoming a state. What has Canada so worried? The politicians and their cushy jobs is what they worry about!

Every state had to vote on joining the United States.

I can remember when Hawaii has added and can recall the celebrating that occurred.

Panama is a choke hold for the Atlantic fleet to join the Pacific fleet. It needs to be secured. Think of it as similar to China's Road and Belt. With Hong Kong ownership of ports on both sides, and China's aggressive takeover of Hong Kong is dictatorial. Scuttling a ship in the canal would cripple our defenses for quite a while.

Green land is huge and can control the shipping lanes of the north. China and Russia are tapping the Arctic for fossil fuels. Those lanes could be a chokehold as well. During World War II, my father was stationed in Greenland. Many of the generals who planned D day were stationed there. My dad was a second lieutenant there and Chauferred generals around. He kept asking to see combat and the Generals told him he was nuts and should stay where he was safe. He continued to ask for combat duty and prevailed. Just before D Day he was assigned to Patton's Third Army. Were it not for him catching the Mumps, he more than likely would have died on D day.

I think it should be allowed to have the Greenlanders vote on becoming a territory or a state. If they want to join us, it would be a great plus.

Did you know that on the far tip of the Aleutians Islands one is very close to Russia. That area is dotted with old US Air Force airfields that were manned with radar and jets for the first defense of the lower 48. Greenland holds a similar strategic location.

These are all defense issues that few even consider. Trump really wants to handle the tough issues.

With him, it is not politics - it is protection of the people and our collective business prowess.

He'll go down as a great leader.

He is a student of Reagan and Mc Kinley - many others I suspect.

Keep the faith Kirk, he has his wheels spinning much faster than most.

The incredible critiques that come from the Democrats are simply jealous snarking that have little basis of importance.

JMHO

Always good to consider your views, your wheel spins pretty fast as well. <smile>

I'm thinking you, Breeze, and I should buck up, and put a bid in on TOK TOK>
