A "give-up trade" is where one broker surrenders an open position to another broker to execute a trade on your behalf.(the trader has accounts with both brokers) Don't know if it's possible to execute with stocks and with "E-Brokers" ? Yes, multiple brokers is now a mandatory strategy with the volatility and chaos of today's inter-linked global markets. Probably a good idea to also have a full service broker too. Regards, Dave
