rough time -- stagnant at about $8/share -- for the next 18 months, essentially until
Merced comes out.

I think the key will be PII. Both AMD/CYRX are implying that they
will give up the high-end mkt. to Intel and concentrate on
consumer mkt. This is great news for Intel, and most people
don't realize the implications yet. If PII can ramp up in 3Q/4Q,
this will raise their ASP, since these margins should not be affected
too much, if at all, by the competition. Maybe 3Q will be flat,
but starting in Q4, takeoff once again!
