Ah, we agree on SOMEthing. I suppose the line has to do with stability. If we can hold back a stable evil force, such as China and the USSR, it's better than blowing up the world.

However, if I were prez, and the military said they had a direct bead on Saddam himself, I'd tell 'em to go for it.
