I wouldn't short WFC. WFC is everywhere in California, and expanding further into the supermarkets. Also, Warren Buffett is a big WFC shareholder, which means other investors will follow his lead.

As for BAC, they will have a split in May, and their PE is below industry. Of all the banks (Citicorp, Wells, Chase, JP, and BAC) I like BAC the most. Good PE, good management. A solid long term buy.
