Thanks, that suggests I used the right figure a few posts back, but can anyone explain what 'authorized shares" means? Perhaps the management have prior approval to sell more, provide some as options to staff and board?

WRt to the diagnostic test, I agree this may be substantial. Biota has held on to a much larger portion of this. The best scenario for Biota, as I see it, is that the drug is expensive enough to encourage everyone to use the diagnostic test before the drug. This presupposes of course that the drug is effective enough that one is prepared to pay for it once one is sure the illness is flu.
