Mark,

I'm not the expert on pricing, but here's my best shot:
Novacrete Multi-Purpose Mortar is the finished product (vs. the additive).
Finished product is what "John Q. Public" uses to set 4x4's for deck, etc. Competes with Sacrete and similar products. NovaCrete is much stronger, non-salt-corrosive, etc. but "John" doesn't care; he cares about price. Hence, (IMHO), finished product mortar won't carry the same mark-up as admixture. I'm guessing that this mortar is priced to compete with similar products.

Again IMHO, the high gross profit is in the admixture.
Months ago, Roy MacMillan (gone since December) told me that admixture would sell for around $4.00/pound. Strictly guessing, they may discount that price to get their foot in some doors. From what I understand, still plenty on money to be made at a lower price.

HARD is currently developing/testing additions to product line.
I just went to their website:
novacrete.com
and discovered that it's under construction. That's just come about in the last few days.

Maybe we'll be able to get a good update before long.

Here's hoping (and believing) that it's going to be worth the wait.

Good luck,
David
