I don't understand why it's so funny, but whatever....

For most of us this is a business, and as such, we make money on volatility. For those who are long term buy and hold, they don't care about volatility.

If you are a trader, which is becoming a rare commodity partly because of HFT, then you might get hurt by trying to trade a stock like AAPL. It's market cap makes that unlikely. In any event, why would you find a loss for someone "Funny"?? And to make it LMAO funny is even more so...."The Blues Brothers" and "The Hangover" were LMAO funny.

Guess we have different senses of humor.
