CENTRAXX FIELD TEST RESULTS EXCEED EXPECTATIONS
Las Vegas, Nevada, November 18, 1999? Centraxx, Inc. (OTCBB:CNXX) today
announced successful field test results for its revolutionary UNI-POINT(TM)
wireless technology. During testing this week in Toronto, a tagged vehicle
was tracked by a base station and its position located with an accuracy of
better than 8m. Test results were very good and performance is expected to
increase by the time the system is deployed next year. Centraxx also
announced that demonstrations for potential partners and customers will
commence immediately and a major media field test demonstration will be held
on December 7, 1999.
?These results exceed our expectations and demonstrate the tracking and
locating capabilities of our UNI-POINT technology, in addition to its data
transmission capabilities,? stated Centraxx co-founder and Chief Engineer,
Frank Gerlach. He added, ?It is important to understand that this degree of
performance is achieved with a very cost effective architecture. What is
also noteworthy is that this single point tracking technology is
self-contained in a base station unit, only 24? X 24? X 16?.?
The Board of Directors of Centraxx also announced the appointment of Frank
Neuperger, as President and CEO of Centraxx Technologies, a division of
Centraxx Inc. Mr. Neuperger has a proven track record in managing emerging
technology companies. He has extensive experience with terrestrial and
satellite wireless data communications, GPS and precision positioning
systems. He is responsible for overseeing the final development of the
Centraxx AutoRescue vehicle tracking and recovery system and the long-term
development, implementation and network rollout of UNI-POINT data and
positioning technology.
