Cameron,
My gut is in a similiar mood. I just closed out my
position in Cisco, (x3+ gain). VTSS has held very well considering
the general choppiness in the high-tech area. My gain in VTSS
is not that large, but I am thinking about locking in some gains
in a tax sheltered account. I think Vitesse is in the position of
having a lot of people expecting high growth in the future, they
now need to start delivering that growth in a consistent pattern.
The recent issue of "LAN Times" has an article on the projected
growth of Fibre Channel, which I feel is the key to an explosion
in VTSS. The charts show exponential growth through the end of
the century, with the largest gains starting in 97-98.

My own feeling is that it will trade in the 9-10 range before
the 15-16 range. ( Please note that I have a bad history of
selling too early.)
