Pete,
I spoke with the VSE and was simply told that "trading has been halted due to a pending major transaction". they added this is not in any way unusual.
Also spoke with IR for BFTK, they could or would not say too much re the transaction.
Also spoke with Grant Young @ the Genesis Group who reiterated that the deal, as it sits now, would give IMM shareholders 1 share of BFTK for every 2 of IMM. This would be dividended out to the shareholders as a special dividend (in stock).
The deal would see IMM get a controlling block of BFTK and presumably be in a better position to market their technology and research.
