The philosophy I have (which I also heard a local sports talk show host express) is that Marquette, Texas, and Syracuse all benefited from playing their later round games close to home. Kansas did not. This makes what Kansas did that much more impressive. I thought UConn could have easily beaten Texas on a neutral court, therefore, I'm not surprised Syracuse beat Texas. This means that Kansas should be an overwhelming favorite to beat Syracuse. No matter which team wins or loses, one head coach may never get that monkey off their back.
