Gold/Silver Vein
March 6, 2000 via CDS
17.7 Feet of 1.42 Ounce Gold Equivalent Per Ton

Results from recent drilling at Huevos Verdes, Argentina returned the best high-grade intercept encountered on the property to date. At a vertical depth of 115 meters (377 ft), drill hole EP-70 hit bonanza high-grade gold/silver mineralization and a second drill hole, EP-69 located 300 meters (984 ft) southeast, also hit high-grade gold/silver
mineralization (See Table I). These important holes indicate the potential of this new zone that is open laterally and at depth. Also, the Corporation is planning its next round of exploration on the property. Assay results from the remaining eight holes of a 14-hole, 1,598 (5,243 ft) meter reverse-circulation program at the Huevos Verdes vein system have been received and contain high-grade gold/silver mineralization up to 15.92 g/t (0.46 opt) gold and 1,634.1 g/t (47.7 opt) silver over a true width of 5.4 (17.7 ft) meters for a combined Au-Ag equivalent of 48.60 g/t (1.42 opt ) gold. Included within this section is 2.3 m (7.6 ft) of 30.73 g/t (0.90 opt) gold and 3,166 g/t (92.3 opt) silver for a combined value of 94 g/t (2.74 opt) gold equivalent.
