Yes, I'm sure you're right. I have no problem with a high-priced introduction - it will enable them to work up to high volumes. The value will be in interpretation the statistical evaluation. It would be useful if different companies produced rival programs for analysing the data. I wonder why they will deliver the data loaded on a dedicated machine. Is that simply marketing? A web-based system seems more straight-forward, but maybe there will be a greater sense of privacy with individuals holding their data. But if everyone holds their own data, then there won't be the opportunity to learn from their case-histories in the way 23andme plans. Ashley Ashley
