Dear Juan: Congragulations you have determined where I am currently trying to wrap up some business and sell my remaining two buildings, and consequently where I have been spending a lot of time. I served on a board for several years with a fellow who had some loose connection with PEC last year. He commented after one of our meetings last summer that PEC was planning on raising a LOT of money on an unproven idea that he wasn't sure would pass all government tests. I historically play the market on both sides. My first thought was to buy the stock when he first mentioned the fuel. When he didn't mention it again I started reading all of the press releases. Experience has taught me that the fastest side of the market is the short side. I spend a lot time on the web looking for stocks that have LOTS of press releases, and high multiples. A stock with a good product and increasing sales and earnings CANNOT be TALKED DOWN for long, and I NEVER short a stock with a large short positon. I have not seen the guy who originally started my looking at KNIC this year, but based on asking what I consider valid questions, and getting NO answers here or elsewhere, and seeing one earnings dissappointment after another and reading about all of the options and warrents and one time charges, KNIC has been a profitable short. If you don't have answers ATTACK, signs of a perfect short to me.
