Charles, I am talking about doing the "right" sun thing. I wouldn't run Solaris on an x86 box.. are you nuts ;) Nope I am talking about a sun WORKSTATION. and my price of $99 was for Windows 95, not NT.. (which if you are buying workstation, doesn't cost NEAR $700 btw) Now as for Sun's stuff being online sure, their patches are online, have you ever looked at how many there are... you need two people just to sift through the list. And I also never said MS was wonderful, just better to work with. I have to do it on a daily basis. Steve PS. Do you own any SUN products (other than software)?
